In recent years I’ve been very lucky to be part of the Glastonbury Festival bin painting crew. Before the festival starts, we spend two weeks on site hand-painting around 14,000 bins as well as lots of benches, poles and murals on walls and entrance gates.

We can paint pretty much what we want to but there are set themes for specific areas such as flowers, animals, food, space and fairies. We also paint 100 bins each year that have been commissioned by members of the public who pay and make a request of what they would like to be painted on their bin with the money raised going to charity.
